Speck serves the local specialty the Zuger Kirschtorte (Cherry cake). The ground floor area is in a modern style while going upstairs to the first floor guests find themselves in a traditional old town style coffee house.

St. Michael is the largest church of Zug. Just a 5-10 minutes walk from the old town, its towering above the city.

There is a small bar offering some food, snacks and drinks. No entrance fee.

The Höllgrotten Caves are unique drip stone caverns near the Zugs neighboring town Baar. The variety of the rock formations and the changes in form and color are great ti visit with kids. Perfect for a trip on a rainy day.

The station for the cable car going up to the local mountain Zugerberg. It has several parking lots near by and is connected with the local bus line no. 11 (Bushaltestelle Schönegg).

Arts & Culture
The castle of Zug was once the seat of the local ruling class. After Zug joined the Swiss confederation, the castle went into private ownership. Nowadays its a Museum about the history of Zug. It also hosts special exhibitions.
