Get your walking shoes on and get ready for the 500m steep walk up to Cape Hawke Lookout. Spectacular 360 degree views from the tower over the ocean, south to Booti Booti, north to Crowdy Head and west to Barrington Tops-Worimi Country.

The perfect beach for a morning walk with the dogs or a swim. One Mile Beach is patrolled at the southern end during holidays and on weekends. Grab a coffee, milkshake, breakfast or lunch at Bostin Brew Co at the southern end of One Mile Beach. There’s also a playground at the southern end for the kids to burn off some energy.

This is one of my all time favourite places to take visitors who want to kayak or try their hand at paddle boarding. Please
note that there isn’t kayak hire available at this location.
