Lanzarote la isla del fuego

En el norte,absolutamente imperdible es el Mirador del Río,con la espléndida vista de la isla de La Graciosa,mejor ir cuando el cielo está despejado de nubes,de lo contrario,se corre el riesgo de no ver nada.Jardín de Cactus, es un jardín exclusivamente de cactus diseñado por Cesare Manrique,un artista canario que luchó para que no se construyeran gigantescos hoteles de forma masiva.También en el norte encontramos Jameo del Agua donde hay cangrejos albinos que viven solo en Lanzarote y la Cueva de Los Verdes.Hay una entrada combinada para las 4 atracciones y puedes comprarla en una de ellas.

La Geria, la zona donde se cultivan los viñedos, existe la posibilidad de visitar algunas Bodegas y degustar vinos y quesos. Cerca de la Geria se encuentra el Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, este volcán aún está activo y tiene colores únicos. Mi volcán favorito es el Volcán del Cuervo, no es muy turístico pero al final de la ruta (que dura aproximadamente 1 hora de caminata) es posible adentrarse en el corazón del volcán La Caldera.

En el Golfo para un buen almuerzo de pescado y para ver el lago verde. También cerca de esta atracción se pueden ver Los Hervideros (acantilados con vistas al mar) y Las Salinas, las marismas de Lanzarote con sus maravillosos colores del rosa al blanco. Y muy cerca está una playa de arena negra.

En Playa Blanca tenemos la playa más bonita de la isla, Playa Papagayo y si te gusta caminar 1 hora a pie desde casa encontrarás Los Charcones, piscinas naturales de todos los tonos de azul en contraste con el negro de la piedra de lava.

The Playa Blanca market is held every Wednesday and Saturday at Marina Rubicon. There are many handicrafts and you can buy very nice things as a souvenir of our splendid island.

Another market that cannot be missed is that of Teguise. It is very big and it is better to go early. Teguise is the old capital of the island and the oldest city in Lanzarote.

La Geria, the area where the vineyards are cultivated, there is the possibility of visiting some wineries and tasting wines and cheeses. Near La Geria is the Timanfaya National Park, this volcano is still active and has unique colors. My favorite volcano is the Cuervo Volcano, it is not very touristy but at the end of the route (which lasts approximately 1 hour of walking) it is possible to enter the heart of the La Caldera volcano.

In the Gulf for a good fish lunch and to see the green lake. Also near this attraction you can see Los Hervideros (cliffs overlooking the sea) and Las Salinas, Lanzarote's marshes with their wonderful colors from pink to white. And very close is a black sand beach.

In Playa Blanca we have the most beautiful beach on the island, Playa Papagayo and if you like to walk 1 hour on foot from home you will find Los Charcones, natural pools of all shades of blue in contrast to the black of the lava stone
