This is a cute hippy town about 25-30 min from Meadow Vista. There is great food, and shopping in the middle of the pine trees. The historic National Hotel that is a must see for food, drinks and a great vibe. If you enjoy hiking, then Nevada City has many trails to hike.
This lake is located in Grass Valley and Colfax and is enormous and beautiful. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, boating or camping. This lake is about 15 minutes up the road and has everything and more.
