A beautiful English Antiques market town. It is definitely worth a stroll around one afternoon. It is set in the heart of the South Downs National Park in West Sussex, surrounded by the walls of Petworth house and park, which is a fabulous country wall - highly recommend it. One of our favourite gastro pubs can be found near Petworth - The Horse Guards Inn of Tillington. Must book in advance.

Hambledon has an array of excellent country walks. Park at the Hambledon church (Waze or google maps will take you there) and walk in any direction, into the field or up into the hills.
The 'Hydon's Ball' walk is a glorious wild area of open forest.
You can walk from Hambledon to Hascombe, finishing with a pint and lunch at the White Horse Pub. Highly recommend this - its a good 75min walk. You may want to leave a car at the pub if you don't want to do the walk back!

The Canal passes through the lovely woodland and open landscapes of Surrey and West Sussex, including areas of outstanding natural beauty. The Trust has compiled some guides to short walks around 2 key areas of the canal, Shalford at the northern end, and Loxwood, in West Sussex.

A fabulous award winning farm shop also known as top growers of vegetables and salad crops in the county, selling all their grown produced in the shop. You can go and pick your own, or browse around the stunning farm shop. You wont leave empty handed!
We also recommend their frozen section - some great frozen pastries and ready meals if you want something easy. They have an excellent selection of baking items and cheese counter .
There is also a wine store selling English wines only, many from the Surrey & Sussex county.

Secretts of Milford
