You can stay as long as you like, well into the afternoon, nobody will be rushing you out the door as is often the case. Beautiful outside covered terrace. Just 15 mins drive. Prices are more than reasonable - max 25-30 Euros for 4 course meal and wine.

Its chic, its modern, its efficient, a bit pricey but worth it. Great setting in the open alleyway in the centre of town. Charming owners and staff. Excellent and unusual contemporary cuisine.

A marvellous mediaeval village perched on hillside overlooking the Lot. Quite classy shops for pottery, clothes, art etc. Nice restaurants. Best to book.

Another mediaeval villate set on a hillside. Bigger and bustlier than St Cirq and about an hours drive away. Combine visit to the grottos at Pech Merle on the way and take in the Bird Sanctuary which is an unforgettable visit.
