The city of Mafra is a pleasure to visit. It's huge central building(the National Palace) is seen from far. You can enter and see a little museum. The town is build around it and great for a walk and a coffee on a terras.

This is just one of many beautiful beaches along the coast near the house. This one is literally 5 minutes away.
The beautiful coastline of the Costa de Prata gives you many possibilities for hiking, relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, surfing!
This is an ecological farm run by it's inhabitants. A very interesting and life perspective changing experience to visit these guys. They grow there own food and build there own houses in the most nature friendly way. You can do courses here as well
