Your guide to Pendik and Istanbul

Dolmabahce is a great place to go for a walk, or have a nice drink by the water. its a must to anyone visiting Istanbul. to get there is very easy from my place. take a cab to the nearest Metro. (5 minutes) from there take the Metro all the way to Sirkeci station, then take a tram to kabatas total trip time an hour and 15 minutes

Amazing place, you can also ride the telefrik, eat dandurma, and do the site seeing in the historical square, dont forget to take photos by the 800 years old tree.
beware some places exaggerate in prices of dandurma for tourists so ask the price before you buy.

up the road from my flat and about 800 meters away, there is a nice street market, its only once a week every wednesday (I'll update the exact day later) they sell many things there from fruit and veg to household items and clothings. the atmosphere is wonderful there and you get a feel of the real turkish life style with the haggling and bargaining joys

how to get to the subway
best method is by cab, you can get to either the metro this takes only 5 minutes and cost around 15tl. from there you will get Metro that will take you anywhere you want in Istanbul or you take the M4 line (underground) and will get you to the heart of Istanbul faster.
