Waxham Great Barn is the longest thatched barn in England. It is open for weddings and events and there is The Dunes Cafe open during weekends and holiday season. Just a mile up the road from Sea Palling, the safest way is to walk along the beach to Waxham Gap.

There is a Noman castle with a dungeon. Elm Hill and Timberland are some of the oldest parts with cobbled streets and timber houses. The Adam and eve is the oldest pub in Norwich dated 1249 and is near to Bishops Bridge and the Cathedral.
