Closest beach to the Banbridge
Only a 17 minute drive.
Long stretches of white sand dunes great for walking or swimming!
Brackley main is the busiest, for less crowds go towards Robinsons Island trails or stop at beaches in Stanhope, Dalvay or Covehead.
Richard’s Seafood in Covehead does excellent lobster rolls etc!

Provincial Park (free admission, parking and facilities). About a 50 minute drive from Charlottetown. White sandy beach with a lighthouse to visit. Great for swimming and walking.

A great add on to a Victoria road trip or a pit-stop on your way to or from the Confederation Bridge. Classic red sand beach of the south shore (always warmer water than the north shore)! Provincial park which means free parking and admission. Be sure to check the tide table for the south shore before visiting! At low tide you can walk for miles and see locals clamdigging. At high tide there won’t be much room for walking but it’s great for a dip!
