It's a heart warming place. They show a movie then go by boat to the memorial. You can buy tickets online or wait in line before 6:30 to get tickets, first come first served.

This beach is where big wave surfing originated. It can be 50+ ft. Watch one of our surf movies before you go. If the beach is calm, the locals will jump off a lava rock into the water. Very fun

It's beautiful. We've never been inside, too pricey and lots of beauty to be had everywhere for free. Drive up to the heiau.

Get fresh local produce at the farmers market on Saturdays 9am - 1pm in the Longs Drugs parking lot behind the on Starbucks in town. The produce is fabulous.

It's the most crowded COstco I've ever been in. Park by the gas station, there's always spaces. Don't think you'll just run in and pick something up. THat'll never happen. There's always a long line and as is everywhere on Oahu, people aren't in a hurry.

They also have wifi. It's the only coffee shop on the Westside. Coffee shops don't seem to be popular on Oahu. However, we've waited in line out the door before there. They sell cute Hawaii mugs.

This is an absolute must do. This truck is in the KMart and Ace parking lot against the back fence overlooking the H1. They make them fresh hot and haupia (coconut). Don't try them anywhere else.

This is an excellent place to escape the rain and/or heat. It specializes in native Hawaiian artifacts. There is a geological exhibit of Hawaii for kids. A planetarium movie of navigation by stars.

It's a mini aquatic park. They have a couple shows. It's small and on the south east corner of the island. We live 3 miles from Seaworld, so we've never been. Stop by if you're drving in that area.

My Dad is retired Navy. They stay at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki. If you don't have a military ID you can still by drinks at the pool bar.Also they rent Paddle boards in a protected area in front.

Great shopping. Go to the beach in front of the Sheraton Moana Surfrider and rent a long board for an hour from the Waikiki Beach Boys. . It's very fun.
