Located near the Linden Hills shopping area, Lake Harriett is a wonderful lake to walk around. Be sure to catch the rose garden on the NE side of the lake, and the live arts happening throughout the summer at the Bandshell.
A quick walk up the hill to the west of the lake leads to quaint shops including Sebastian Joe’s ice cream. If you like chocolate, I recommend Nicollet Pothole 😉

A quick walk up the hill to the west of the lake leads to quaint shops including Sebastian Joe’s ice cream. If you like chocolate, I recommend Nicollet Pothole 😉

In February Lake of the Isles is the location for the Luminary Loppet: a ticketed event (must purchase tickets in advance), patrons are released in waves throughout the evening to walk, ski or snowshoe around Lake of the Isles, taking in the breathtaking ice sculptures and luminaries, as well as live music, hot beverages, and food trucks. It is truly remarkable!
