The Ridgeway Inn is set in our local village, and within a 5-10 minute walk (relatively steep hill).
Good food, but opening days and times are very erratic, so definitely call ahead if you'd like to book.

Sightseeing
Great seaside town, with a lovely, flat walk along the sea front. Nice shops, and cafes.
Highly recommend going to Jacobs Ladder cafe at the far end of the beach - nice gardens up there too.

The lane down to the gardens also leads down to the beach.

Nice town for shopping. Recommend catching the park & ride bus as you enter.

Great place to visit. Either walk, hire a bicycle, canoe, or take a boat trip down the river to have lunch at one of the two pubs at the lochs.
