Excellent local brewery with a rotation of beer taps with a few ciders and kombucha. They also sometimes have a little wine table set up as well. They are kid friendly and have their own disc golf course. You can rent discs (frisbees) from the bar. Check out their Facebook page for upcoming events. They have a Saturday craft market, an Indie Night market, food trucks, occasional live music, bingo, yoga, and beer & hymns, to name a few.

Good food. Not too expensive. Not as crowded as the restaurants on the boardwalk. Sometimes they have a late night DJ and stay open until 2:00am.

Book a seat on the pedal pub! Pedal your crew (or ask them to turn on the motor) down through the canal and check out the beautiful houses and sights.

Definitely the most popular destination to mention- the Boardwalk! Lots of cute shops, tons of great restaurants (plenty with live music) and ice cream joints. There is a pavilion that hosts various events throughout the year like family nights or bingo and fireworks on Thursdays during the summer.

Take the ferry out of Fort Fisher to the town of Southport! The ferry runs every 45 minutes and costs $7 per car load. While in Southport eat lunch at Provision Company or Fishy Fishy. Sit in the swings by the water. Do a wine tasting at Silver Coast and look around at the Southport Market and the Christmas Shoppe.

This is a new business and it was so much fun! They do a sunset cruise from 7:00-9:00pm Tuesday-Sunday and a midnight cruise from 10:00-12:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The cruise travels through the canal on the Cape Fear River. On the way down it is narrated but on the way back to port there is music and dancing! There is a bar with drinks and snacks for sale.
Children are welcome but no dogs allowed.
