Our family loves a day trip to Silly Lily. We rent a small boat, get fishing gear, and explore Moriches Bay. The owners of Silly Lily are wonderful and make everything so easy. They have transformed this marina into a destination place! We also go for their food truck, we average 1 night week during the summer months.

Great for groups. Nice bar scene and family friendly. Try to book ahead to avoid long waits. Salads, fish and steak/hamburgers. Great water views of the marina. Tricky area to find but worth it. About 15-20 drive from WHB.

Great sailing and close to North Folk wineries and food scene. Also an easy day trip into NYC to catch a Broadway play or to visit a museum. WHB recently renovated its Main Street adding new restaurants and bars. It is a charming village with a great laid back family friendly vibe.

Great full day trip or overnight trip during the summer months. Take the morning Viking ferry from Montauk and return ferry at 5pm. Spend the day bike riding or mopeds around Block Island. Have lunch at Ballards and swim the ocean afterwards to cool off.
