Sightseeing
This is one of my favourite places for a walk. Looking down at the quarry from the top makes me feel like an ant. I like this place also because its close to Toft Gate Barn Cafe, a really nice place to stop over and they sell very good honey!

A nice place to head if you have your trekking boots on. The balancing rock formations are spectacular. It's a great place to take photos of the sunrise and sunset. If you are a National Trust member, the parking is cheaper, I am not but don't mind paying because I am never disappointed and the staff there do an amazing job keeping it clean and tidy. There is also a cafe there for beverages and refreshments.

Brimham Rocks
A nice place to head if you have your trekking boots on. The balancing rock formations are spectacular. It's a great place to take photos of the sunrise and sunset. If you are a National Trust member, the parking is cheaper, I am not but don't mind paying because I am never disappointed and the staff there do an amazing job keeping it clean and tidy. There is also a cafe there for beverages and refreshments.
Whether you are religious or not, this cathedral will spark a sense of awe in you. The staff are very warm and friendly and are very knowledgeable about the cathedral's history, I thoroughly enjoyed having a chat with them the last time I visited.

Studley Royal Deer Park
A nice place for a walk and getting close with nature.
I love being on boats, there is an operator that takes people on cruises along the canal. The banks are extremely tidy and clean, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll whilst enjoying the swans.

It's a very small place and there is a strong sense of community, with most people I have met being warm and friendly. The shops have everything you'd need. I highly recommend the two butchers on the main street, I love bbqs and the T-bone steaks I have got many times from Pateley are the best I have had. There are a couple of places to have a good meal with my favourites being Bengal Cuisine and The Pancake House. One other thing, not many little places that are the same size as Pateley Bridge can claim to have the oldest sweetshop in England, I think Pateley is very unique;)
