You may catch a glimpse of a kingfisher skimming along the Little Dart River, or see a roe deer, fox, woodpeckers, nuthatch or treecreeper.

Nature experience
Wildlife from The Cayolar - Sometimes it may be difficult to spot the presence of the wildlife, but the signs are there for a detective! Footprints, fur caught on the fence, nibbled plants, poos, squeaks, barks and hoots are all clues to what may have visited the garden during the night time hours . . .
The garden is busy all day long with the calls of birds - greater spotted woodpeckers, nuthatches, and many others.
On nearby fields we often see roe and red deer, foxes, pheasants and buzzards.
