Beautiful and huge state park with entrance fee for the day. Located right past the Ferry terminal. Herring point is the best walk on beach access here. Trails also run throughout the park for biking, walking, or running.

The Northside is the right hand turn Before the bridge. It is ideal for surfers, skim boarders or to body board in the waves. Dogs are allowed there. Public restrooms are available. There is a restaurant there called Hammerheads Dockside. It is right past the park and right on the marina. Stunning views and great for sunsets and drinks/food.
Southside is the right turn right after you cross the bridge. There is also a fee for the day, with public bathrooms and showers. There is an outdoor restaurant Big Chill Beach Club there with 360 views of the ocean and bay. Don’t miss the sunset there!!
Dogs are not allowed at Southside.
