Market days are so interesting it's a must
Local markets are just around we have Nima, Mallam Atta which is not too far from my place, you can walk if you want or take a car. Aside that we have Kaneshie and Makola Market this are two biggest market in Accra and easy to take a car to this market places and buy whatever you want, bargain whatever you are buying.

Most of the places you don't need to book before you go there, anyway i will say do some search on them, before you leave to where you are going to. by doing that it gives you some a little knowledge about the place you want to visit.
