You have a great assortment of options only one stop away from the city by subway. Since the weather is nice you may want to take the ferry you can. As well as the option to bike or rent a scooter to get around.

The local farmers market is on Tuesdays and Saturdays right by Brooklyn Borough Hall . They have this mushroom stand called Small Hold there which I love. Ask for Ben if he is there and mention my name. You will be taken care of graciously.
