It’s a fun little town up the road from the Falls. There is a railroad museum, parking all along the tracks. Small shops and eateries. I used to be a dinner cook at the lodge. We used to be able to swim beneath the Falls. Now there is a great pathway from the observation lookout down to the base of the falls. You can drive down as well. No swimming access anymore.

They have an outlet mall as well as a historic downtown that I-90 used to run through. George’s Bakery is a hit for both pastries and catered events. Tweed’s is the iconic T-Mar Cafe which was used in the Twin Peaks series. There is a bar with live music, a wine shop, ITALIAN and franchise places.
Beautiful museum, from ancient to modern Asian, and some Native American representation. Last Friday of the month is free. Explore Volunteer Park and the Conservatory while you’re there!

The UW has a beautiful campus, as well as The Burke Museum. It is just fun to go where science, art, history and drama flow! The more modern Law building is something to witness too.
