Winter Driving Conditions - Snow tires & AWD avoid fines!
Know the laws and ensure you have the right vehicle for driving in the mountains. Traction laws in effect in the winter require you to have snow tires and/or AWD vehicles. Tire traction socks are a good alternative to snow tires.

Expect temperatures to swing 40 degrees in a day. Hot in the sun, cold in the shade, Mountain weather changes quickly. Dress in layers to stay comfortable.
