The vendors here are used to have buyers from South East Asia so you can shop around without worry, also they can ship your orders as well. Don’t forget to bargain and negotiate your price! That’s the beauty of traditional market shopping.

You must go to Thamrin City level 5 for any hijab related items especially the head scarf. You may find pretty batiks and gamis at reasonable price at the lower floor as well.

Depending where you go, if you are going to public area / shopping malls you may dressed freely. However, if you walk around outside or on the road, better dress appropriately (for female) with pants or longer skirts/ dresses so you can use motorcycles as well if needed.

Our apartment has many facilities for sport including gym, swimming pool and basketball court. Jakarta people like to ride bicycle these days especially on Saturday/Sunday morning (or jog on the main roads as well).

Yes our Apartment has no wifi and limited phone reception on certain providers. We recommend you getting XL card at the airport or Grand Indonesia to ensure you are well connected (can you mobile tethering) even in the apartment.
