You cannot go wrong with Rocoto. They update their menu regularly and while it is mostly a seafood place (duh!), there are specialties like the slow-cooked short rib that are simply delicious.

Neighborhoods
La Crucecita and its main square are ideal visiting spots. There are shops (handcrafts, jewelry, hats, swimming gear), restaurants, cafés and the town church around a very nice plaza with a central kiosk.

The best scuba diving shop in Huatulco. They have a new location inside Sea Soul Huatulco.
Perfect for first-time divers, Luca and his crew are extremely safe and provide an excellent way to explore Huatulco National Park.

They also have a great restaurant - Clio's - that can be visited without a membership.

One way to have a great start to your day is to walk from Punta Arrocito to Chedraui Supermarket, do your grocery shopping for the day (make sure you get some fresh fruit), and grab a taxi back to the condo.
You can track your route using your favorite app. It's a steep first 15 minutes up the road, and then it's downhill on a really nice boulevard. You will hear local birds and insects, and walk past the convention center in marina Chaue.
The walk takes about 45 -50 minutes but it's a great way to work up an appetite and earn a cold cerveza (or two) later in the day!

Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive in Huatulco!
The staff at the front gate will be happy to call you a cab when needed. They usually arrive in less than 5 minutes.
