Best biscuits, gravy, bacon, breakfasts in town. Highly recommend. Fills up with the after-church crowd on Sundays but other days are easier to get in. Only serves until 11 and worth all of it. Note the building says 'Atomic Cowboy' on the outside because it is a shared space with Fat Sully's.

Drinks are not great but food is fantastic. And is also loud :) But if you go off hours its not bad at all. And the food is always worth it.

Amazing Burgers Make sure you ask to have it 'skirted' (have to ask for it and is amazing) and choose the garlic bun (they make them in house). That's what makes it awesome. The only thing is the place is super tiny and usually a long line, and their fries are terrible haha. So if you go off hours it's better, but it's always worth the wait.

The only thing is the place is super tiny and usually a long line, and their fries are terrible haha. So if you go off hours it's better, but it's always worth the wait.
Fine dining with modern taste and flair. GREAT food! Always changing the menu. Great service, tiny place, located inside COATI up on the second floor. If you're looking for some amazing and interesting food this is the place. Reservations usually recommended since it is so small.

Sightseeing
For a beautiful valley hike, run, mountain bike, or even some bouldering, you should definitely check out Ute Valley. Located within 10 minutes drive or bike ride, enter from the south-west side near Pinion Valley park to avoid the parking problems of the main entrance.

The rock climbing is amazing and everything is always free. FrontRange climbing offers guides, or you can just climb with your own gear. Bouldering is also available and spots are listed on mountainproject.org. You must sign up for a yearly permit to climb! This is free, and available online. Driving inside is a one way loop. There is shuttle parking at the entrance of the park and you can also hike in from that parking lot. If interested you can also horseback ride inside the park via Academy Riding Stables (also within 10 minutes)

Hiking, mountain biking, climbing, running. Wonderful free citypark. Right off Cimmaron Exit (hwy 24), near Manitou and Old Colorado City. Great hiking, tons of bolted slab climbing routes, plenty of mountain bike trails, great for a morning run. Fossil, Trails end and Rudy's are all right outside the park if you wish to grab bbq or a brew after. Parking can get pretty full on nice days though so go early!

AOW offers quite a few things. They are well organized and have great tours. Also offer hot air balloon rides, zip lining, and open car tours of the mountains and canyons.

Home to bristol brewery, the principals office (hard drinks which are some of best in town), axe and oak distillery in the basement. Firepits on the balconies and usually there are events going on in the elementary school gym. Its a great place to check out.
