Things to do
Peacocks walk around this area, though they tend to use this house as their main center. It's a nice walk. I recommend walking from Waluga to Oakridge to Bonaire and back.

Eventually another neighbor decided to bring peacocks back to the area, and the neighborhood once again absorbed the birds.

If you feel up for an adventure, go rafting on the White Salmon River. They offer a whole day trip, which come recommened! The water is cold, so I would say, prime time would be June/July, maybe August if you're lucky with the water levels.
