Just one block from the condo (formerly at the marina Chahué) if you walk opposite side of the Chedraui, you will find my favorite place for an Italian diner! Delicious authentic Italian food and you will be welcomed by the friendly owner. The shrimp and rosé sauce pasta is delicious!
A bit more expensive but it’s a must while in Huatulco! We also like to order pizza there and take out for a more affordable experience.

Braulio is in the kitchen and Francia is at service. They put their heart in their business and everything on the menu is delicious. Very affordable for the quality. Try their Pad Thai and keep some space for their Chocolate Lava cake for desert!! Located at the square in Santa Cruz area (15 min walk or 35 pesos in taxi)

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Huatulco, and I’m not the only one because it’s always full. You will need to make a reservation. The owners are both chefs who traveled the world. Braulio is in the kitchen and Francia is at service. They put their heart in their business and everything on the menu is delicious. Very affordable for the quality. Beaches beaches beaches!
You must visit this stunning beach!! It’s my favorite one. This is the place for meditation, surf or a long romantic walk on the beach. I suggest you begin by having lunch at Los Guerros restaurant and to order a Margarita (careful, they are delicious but strong, the real deal!), an incredibly delicious fish burger and homemade fries.
Then, if the sea level permits it, walk all the way to the laguna (Rio Copalita, where the river meets the ocean) where you will discover many exotic birds. You can swim in the warm waters of the laguna, just be careful: not to close to the ocean!!
Bonus: It’s never crowded, chances are you might fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
On your way back, you might also want to try the new pretty Mezcal bar where you can have tapas and mezcal-based cocktails. The pear, strawberry, prosciutto and boconccini skewers are delicious.
Taxi cost is approx 100 pesos each way. Don’t forget your hat and your sunscreen! Tip: Ask your taxi driver to come back and pick you up for your return.

You must visit this stunning beach!! It’s my favorite one. This is the place for meditation, surf or a long romantic walk on the beach. Oh my!! This is the best bakery in town! Not to be missed. Pan dulce from heaven! Their conchas (local sweet bread), cuernitos (croissants) and galletas (cookies) are magnificos!! I’m usually not a fan of doughnuts but their sugar coated doughnuts bring me to my knees! :)
