Located a few minutes from the cabin in Marcell, this little diner offers everything from a hearty breakfast to burgers, sandwiches, ice cream ect.
Take note of their hours though - they close down in the winter.

Liquor Store
The Snowshoe Liquor store is located in Marcell and has a decent selection of the basics. For example my husband always gets his scotch and bourbon here (12 yr. Glenfidich and Woodford Reserve). They also carry some wine and all the basic beer. If you're picky though or like the exotic stuff your best bet will be to bring in your own supply.

Hiking
This is always our first recommendation to guests looking for a good hike. It's a picturesque park with hiking / biking trails with great views of the two lakes it surrounds.
Boats, Paddle Boards, and Canoes can be rented here!

Scenic State Park
56956 Scenic HwyThis is always our first recommendation to guests looking for a good hike. It's a picturesque park with hiking / biking trails with great views of the two lakes it surrounds.
Boats, Paddle Boards, and Canoes can be rented here!

Bring your tennis rackets and show the kids who's top dog. It's time to teach those punks a lesson! Located 5 minutes from the cabin, Marcell Park offers two tennis courts, a small play ground, outdoor hockey rink, and a paved running/ walking trail.

Grocery Stores
Kocian's Family Market is your best option for grocery runs once you're at the cabin. It's a 15 minute drive from the cabin - located in Bigfork. They're small store as far as grocery stores go, but they should have everything you'd need.

If you're passing through Grand Rapids on the way to the cabin this grocery store would be just 1 block off your route. Keep in mind that the cabin is still another 30 minutes from here though. They have a much better selection than Kocian's Market in Bigfork and the prices are better too.

Keep in mind that the cabin is still another 30 minutes from here though. They have a much better selection than Kocian's Market in Bigfork and the prices are better too.
