It is a state park, therefore: when they open in the summer you will have to pay a fee. They have a small pool and playground available. In the winter months you can park at the gate and Walk to the point (the lake) with your family and dog(s). Nice flat walk!

Down the road! A townie FAVORITE!! Like water activities? Bring your boat, sail boat, canoe, kayak, paddle boat, etc...perfect place to launch. Want to read near the water - perfect for that too! Bring the kiddos - shallow for them! No sand here...:( so, not a good spot for sand castles.

About 40ish minutes from the house - steadily incline trail and has a spring-fed pond at top. It has trails through the woods, so you can access the small pond from all sides. Also, allows camping in the summer months.

15minutes from the house - You can cross over into NY into Crown Point. Ticonderoga is about 30ish minutes away. You can go to Plattsburgh for shopping (about 1hr & 30min away, heading North).
A great little diner with friendly staff! You can eat outside in the summer months! Enjoy a Creemee (soft serve ice cream for the folks not around here) and walk over the Lake Champlain bridge!
