Boat Ramp Access
Charlestown has a public boat ramp located at the intersection of Water and Market Streets. Cost is $10.00 per day. A dropbox for payments is near the ramp. Use one of the envelops provided to the submit your daily fee payment (cash, check or money order).

The Stone Wharf, in town at the corner of Water and Conestoga streets, is a designated ‘free fishing’ zone, which means you do not need a fishing license to fish off the wharf.

Sandy Beach, located at the intersection of Calvert and Conestoga Streets, is a cozy little spot that offers beautiful views of the Elk Neck Peninsula and the North East River. You should also try Foot Log Park, located at the corner of Bladen and Conestoga Streets. Cross over the wooden footbridge and enjoy the beach area. The ever popular Veterans Park, located in the heart of Charlestown, is a popular swimming spot. Dogs are welcome in this park as long as you clean up after them and keep them on a leash.
