There are many great vineyards in the area, Treleaven Wines, which is ~ 8 miles/20 minutes away, is also a great place to host your next get together. This is a beautiful wedding venue. Or just visit for a wine tasting, you can't go wrong.

If you have a boat that you are bringing - Long point, just 3 miles north, has a boat launch as well as other great hiking trails and great views! Long point is pretty much directly across the lake from the Thirsty Owl winery if you are doing the Cayuga lake trail by boat.

2063 Lake RdIf you have a boat that you are bringing - Long point, just 3 miles north, has a boat launch as well as other great hiking trails and great views! Long point is pretty much directly across the lake from the Thirsty Owl winery if you are doing the Cayuga lake trail by boat.
If you are up in the area to do college visits, the campus at Wells College is about 5 miles from our lake house.

The town of Aurora has a wonderful farmer's market on Saturday mornings in season. There is a small village market that has coffee and baked goods along with some convenience items. The main street is along the shore of cayuga lake.
