This is a great day's outing if you are interested in animals. We always take international visitors there as they get to learn about Australia and our native animals and reptiles. Attend the shows if you go, you can learn so much and get to touch the beautiful animals they care for. Even if you are an Aussie it's still great to reconnect with all the creatures great and small at the Park. We highly recommend the trip up to the Reptile Park which is about a 30 minute drive from our guest suit.

Sightseeing
I go down to the Davistown waterfront when I want to be peaceful and quiet. It is just so relaxing being near the calmness of the Brisbane Broadwater. You can also picnic on the ample grass near the water or dine at one of the unique restaurants nearby.

Terrigal is a vibrant coastal town. There are many different types of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Boutique shopping. Nightlife and the beautiful Terrigal beach. A short walk over the hill will take you to the little Haven beach where people like to scuba dive from. Or climb up the Skillion to see the amazing view of Terrigal and out into the deep ocean.

It's fun to catch the ferry from Davistown over to Woy Woy for lunch and back. There are lots of great places to eat including the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant where you can be sure the produce is fresh. Enjoy the pelican feeding while you are there.

Gosford is an evolving town. A real mixture of the old and new. I love walking along the Gosford foreshore. There are lots of interesting places to eat and you can spend a day at the races of you please.

Another favourite beach of ours, again less than 10 minutes drive from our guest suite. This beach is more hidden away than Avoca and Terrigal and is a great place to have lunch with a spectacular ocean view.
