A great and modern museum, interesting architecture and exposition. A must visit if you want to learn something about Estonians and our history. Make sure you have several hours for visiting this museum.

Beautiful garden right on the way from our apartment to the city centre. Even if you don't have time for a longer walk there, make sure to walk through there!

This is where you'll be staying. This part of the city is called Supilinn ("the Soup Town"), beause most every street is named after a vegetable. Oa street = Bean street for example. A century ago the district used to house factory workers and the houses were cheap, wooden and simple. As all things go, now it's one of the most unique districts of Tartu with layer upon layer of architecture, interesting pieces of street art and true local spirit.

A local bar in Karlova district. This is where all the creative local people go to meet and have drinks, watch football, take part in a pub quiz or join a spontaneus street concert if it's a warmer season.
