Totnes has a wide selection of excellent restaurants, bars and take- aways that will suit a wide range of budgets. There are some brilliant food stalls at the market on Friday and Saturday. Check out the pubs (you can bring take away food to the Bay Horse and The Brewery) on the high street or you could walk up the Dart Valley through beautiful countryside to the Dartington Hall where you will find a cafe, a pub and a restaurant. Or head down the Dart Valley to one of the pubs in Tuckenhay. Take a taxi home if you are feeling lazy.
