You can't go wrong for breakfast. Lunch is great, too!
My favorite - Huevos Breakfast Burrito or any of their homemade english muffin sandwiches (they have a 50+yo press they make the english muffins fresh daily).
Note the hours - check website beforehand. Closed Mondays.

McCall (2 hours north) is a gorgeous seasonal town situated around Payette Lake. Summer offers boating and water recreations, hiking/biking on the trails. Winter means Brundage Mountain -- skiing and snowboarding kicks off. Winter Carnival is an annual can't miss also -- the whole town participates in carving sometimes 10 ft tall statues/sculptures from snow/ice.
