Sightseeing
Park in the Beachy Head pub car park (free) have a meal and or drink overlooking fantastic views of Downs, sea and Belle Toute Lighthouse. Visit the Countryside Centre to learn about history of the area and there is a nice little shop. Its the place to stop to see the famous Beachy Head - just across the road from the pub.

Lovely garden and tea room. You need to book for a tour of the castle though.

Lots of independent shops. Miles of pebble beach. Visit the Delaware Pavilion - views, theatre, gallery and great place to sit and have a cup of tea etc. Bexhill Museum also worth a visit.

Great for food and sightseeing
Lovely quaint historic town. Just nice to stroll the high street, several pubs. tea rooms and restaurants. Beautiful church on the green next to the Clergy House (National Trust) by the river. From the A27 end there is a car park on the left but if you drive further there is another car park on the right which is free. Our favourite place is Deans Place Hotel which is past the Clergy House - sit outside on the patio in the summer with a meal from the bar and a drink - perfect!

Loads for the kids to do and they may learn something as well!
Brilliant for younger children, dinosaur trail, miniature railway, play areas etc. Also a good garden centre.
