Where to start? Pensacola has it all! Downtown has museums, galleries, shops, great restaurants, many Brew Pubs and a Minor League baseball team. All are within walking distance from our location. We are also just a 1/2 mile to Bruce Beach which is a great place to paddle board or watch Saturday night fireworks at the stadium.

Wonderful seafood market with deli, bakery and wine shop just 1/2 mile from our location. They usually have fresh produce in a tent out front and the fresh made beignets are not to be missed!

Sightseeing
Head to the beach without your car! Located downtown, a block off of Palafox, 2 Ferries shuttle between Quietwater Beach, Fort Pickens and Downtown. Bikes and coolers are welcome on board and they serve drinks and snacks, too.

Aside from Blue Wahoos games in season, the stadium also hosts the University of West Florida Argonauts football team, has a great pier for fishing, offers a scenic area to walk or bike on the water, a playground, an outdoor gym (just download the Fitness Court app to walk through a routine) and an amphitheater that hosts live music events throughout the season.

In September of 2020, Hurricane Sally knocked out the main bridge to Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach. You can still get to both but it can be a minimum of 45 minutes or more. No Worries! Johnson Beach and Perdido Key are a short 30 minute drive from our home.

Food Scene
MiSu joined our neighborhood in January 2021. It is tucked away behind San Carlo Salon and is a great addition. We love the MiSu Melt sandwich and the Huevo Roll. They also offer breakfast tacos and other yummy food. Tasty and affordable!

A great seafood restaurant within walking distance from our guesthouse. Fresh seafood courtesy of Joe Patti's Seafood Market, large menu with great gumbo and don't miss the hushpuppies. On site bakery, Emerald Coast Bakery, supplies the bread and desserts. The best part, the staff is top notch and very friendly!

The best part, the staff is top notch and very friendly!
Another great choice within walking distance of the guest house, we go for the macarons and the cinnamon rolls but all of their food is delicious.

Great gift ideas, a variety of nuts and coffees and let's not forget Fudge and Truffles. The staff is terrific and always happy to help you find the perfect gift or snack for yourself!

A great selection of craft beers along with wine, too. They also have an excellent selection of vitamins, supplements and other items geared to the healthy minded.

They have an amazing collection of spices, both common and unusual and sell them in smaller portions which are perfect for Air BnB stays if you choose to cook at home. It's also less than a mile from the guesthouse.
