Amazing food, gorgeous stalls, friendly people. It is a lovely place to browse. If you are lucky enough to visit while it is still very quiet, it is easy to look around with no crowds. It has great atmosphere.

Train is the fastest way to get around

Museums are free
Since 2001 London museums have been free, although they may still charge for special exhibitions. The Natural History Museum, British Museum and Greenwich Maritime Museum are all free and well worth the visit.

A ride on the Thames Clipper / Uber Boat into central London
You can pay with the Uber app or Oyster card. An unlimited, all day, all zones family ticket (2 adults, up to 3 children) costs £35.60.
The river boat is a great scenic trip along the historic river Thames. You will sail past Wharves to which trade ships brought sugar, tea and cotton into London. You will also see all the major skyscrapers and Tower of London.
