The Water of Leith Walkway will take you down to The Shore area in Leith. But, we recommend starting at Saughton Park and visiting the Victorian walled gardens there first. From there the walk will take you past Murrayfield Stadium and Roseburn Park and on to the Galleries of Modern Art. Keep walking to the Stockbridge neighbourhood and finally The Shore.

Water of Leith WalkwayThe Water of Leith Walkway will take you down to The Shore area in Leith. But, we recommend starting at Saughton Park and visiting the Victorian walled gardens there first. Edinburgh's seaside! Nice independent shops and cafes and an award winning fish and chip shop (The St Andrews). Worth a trip (26 bus) on a nicer day.

The area is home to several Michelin-star restaurants, as well as more casual spots frequented by locals. Some of the oldest pubs in Edinburgh are located along the waterfront here offering some excellent seafood dishes.
