Sightseeing
Miró is a great place for a nice walk or hike. Once you start going up the mountain there will be a first lookout point point which is great, you can see a panoramic view of Jacó Beach. The second stop is an old abandoned mansion which has some great graffiti and photo opportunities. Once you finish your hike there ir a small restaurant at the base of the mountain. Make sure to get a result made tortilla alineada (tortilla with melted cheese) and natilla. You can also get a typical Tico Breakfast.

Monkeys, sloths 🦥, white sand beaches. Manuel Antonio’s national park is voted one of the worlds best beaches and it is perfect for a day trip from Jaco. Be prepared to walk if you want to get to the farther beaches . We recommend bringing sneakers and having some flip flops in your backpack .

If you are a surfer on a budget or just a regular family that enjoys Tico Breakfasts, this buffet style restaurant has great pinto. It’s super near the apartment so you can also get some pinto and plantains (plátanos) to go.

Honestly the best quality bikini you can get. They will last you years and the designs are always fresh. Mitch is a local designer who has put her heart and soul into this brand. I surf so I tear through bikinis, and these are the ones that always withstand the test of time.

Sunsets
Vida hermosa located in playa hermosa (the next beach after jaco heading south) is a great place to chill and watch the waves . Sunsets are a magical hour and sometimes there are djs and live music.
