If you're visiting with a car during your stay, and are a beer fan or simply a fan of dining with a view, check out TIB's outdoor dining area with a view of the Columbia River and Bridge of the Gods in the distance. A refreshing jaunt from Portland definitely worth the 90 minute out and back drive. To make it a Columbia River Gorge pub crawl, head over Bridge of the Gods to the other side of the Columbia ( now you're in Washington state ) to enjoy the relaxed vibe of Walking Man Brewery. It's just a 10 minute drive away... They have the tastiest truffle fries, and of course tasty freshly brewed beer!
