Must Try Restaurants
My fave restaurants in Moscow and some Must-try dishes I recommend.
*Full disclosure a couple of the restaurants are mine :)
A shameless plug: This is my restaurant. Casual with an awesome vibe. The menu specializes in Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood fired oven, handmade pastas and Italian cuisine. Everything is made from scratch including our mozzarella (made daily), local pork sausage, and the menu uses local ingredients whenever it’s available.
Pro tip: If you’re here during spring through early fall, go and enjoy sitting on the most beautiful patio in downtown Moscow while sipping on one of our over 100 Italian wines. It’s magical!

Finally: BUDINO, BUDINO, BUDINO. You will miss out if you visit Moscow and you don’t try to Butterscotch Budino at Maialina. Order it. You will love it :)

This is my favorite coffee shop! Great coffee served by excellent baristas who always have a smile on their face. This is a popular local hangout spot where you can take in the local vibe. Located downtown on Main st. and only a 2 minute walk from the Moscow Hotel.

One World Cafe
533 S Main StThis is my favorite coffee shop! Great coffee served by excellent baristas who always have a smile on their face. This is a popular local hangout spot where you can take in the local vibe. Located downtown on Main st. and only a 2 minute walk from the Moscow Hotel.
A local gem! This is a fantastic “super” market featuring local produce, meats, cheeses and other local foods. Think Trader Joe’s meets Whole Foods. The city of Moscow has the largest farmers market west of the Mississippi. The Co-Op carries lots of the produce and local foods found at the farmers market. They also have a hot and cold food bar, a coffee bar, a sandwich bar and an awesome selection of wines, beers and cheeses as well as fresh baked breads and ready made grab and go foods. This is my favorite place to shop. It’s a two minute walk from the Hotel.

Sightseeing
If you like hiking, you will not want to miss this one! Depending on which trail you choose this is an easy to moderate hike that will provide you with the most breathtaking views of the Palouse. I take all my friends (including my 80 year old father) when they come and visit on this hike.
