Red's is a locally-owned beer and wine bar that is right at the base of Paris Mountain on Poinsett. They sell wine and beer at retail prices and they also have a good selection at the tap. The owner and staff are friendly and the crowd is lowkey. We often enjoy stopping in on a weekend night!

The Kilgore Lewis house is available as a venue for private events, but the Plant Society of Greenville nurtures a stunning garden on the property that is open to the public! You will get lost wandering through old-growth, ornamentals, perennials and bulbs.

There are also a lot of businesses that have popped up alongside the trail, including yoga studios, breweries, restaurants, and bike shops. The trail is super accessible and is meant for everyone!

We love exploring the state park and preserved forest! From the house, we often wander the trails down to the North Lake or to Sulphur Springs. As a guest here, you can enjoy free access to the park just by way of walking through the back yard.
