Warm swimming water, early bird to avoid the winds. Surfing for beginners. Shops, restaurants. Beautiful surroundings. There are trains from the city, but very funky. Best not to travel late on the trains, for safety reasons.

All 4 of the Clifton Beaches are lovely. 1st beach has milder waves. Bathrooms, a family beach, swim club and umbrellas/chairs for rent. A lovely stretch of beaches to walk, jog, swim and relax. Mornings are best for those who desire the beach to (almost) yourself.

All 4 of the Clifton Beaches are lovely. 1st beach has milder waves. Bathrooms, a family beach, swim club and umbrellas/chairs for rent. A lovely stretch of beaches to walk, jog, swim and relax. Mornings are best for those who desire the beach to (almost) yourself.

Beautiful sandy beaches, all five!. 45 minute walk from Sea Point, public transport available. Surfing, sunbathing, meeting friends.
Something for all types of beach goers, a family beach, gay beach, Jewish beach. Hippie beach and lastly Moses Beach - the secluded beach where surfers go. If you don't do lots of steps, 4th beach ( family beach closet to Camp Bay side) is your option. It's also very busy. Best times are early am or before Sunset. Parkings a bitch! There are dudes selling drinks and icelollies all over. Watch your valuables during peak season.
