Free to enter (although you can leave a donation), an interesting and informative mix of natural history, social history and art installations. Found in the centre of Taunton in it’s own very old building, with a cafe to boot. Now need to pre-book your visit.

Here you'll find Town Tree Nature Garden (no dogs). A privately owned 22 acre garden planted by just one man! Open all year round, entrance fee £1-£4.50.

You'll get to take in both Aller and Beer Woods Nature Reserves. Both beautiful, quiet reserves a little off the beaten track and great for wildlife spotting as they are maintained by the Somerset Wildlife Trust. Really good views over the Levels too.

Very reasonably priced, independent shop. We use this shop on a weekly basis for our shopping in our bid to reduce waste and unnecessary packaging.

There are no street lights in Stoke St Gregory, so when the moon isn’t out it can be very dark when wandering back from the pub. We do have sensor security lights in our driveway and the key safe does have a light up key pad.
