Muelle Uno offers some of the best panoramic views of Málaga's monuments. Lying next to the Port of Málaga, this open-air shopping centre has a large square with lots of restaurants and shops. If you want to get away from the coast and the sea for a couple of hours the Alhaurin el Grande is just the best place. 25 minutes inland you in the Guadalhorce Valley found on the northern slope of Sierra de Mijas.
With a typical rural landscape – it is surrounded by various fruit trees, corn fields, olive groves and gardens, it is a perfect place to escape the busy coast yet neither is it too remote.

If you want to get away from the coast and the sea for a couple of hours the Alhaurin el Grande is just the best place. 25 minutes inland you in the Guadalhorce Valley found on the northern slope of Sierra de Mijas.

Traditional Spanish food right on the beach. I would recommend the paella which is by far the best dishes on the menu. Order in advance or dont go hungry, because it can take up to 35 to 40 minutes to make from scratch.

Fancy a night out the La Sala is the place to be. Just outside of Puerto Banus, live band on weekends. The food is of the very best quality definitely worth for a special occasion. One of my favourites.

Malaga has really transformed its self over the last couple of years. Gone are the days of oily fish and un inspired dishes . Today Malaga is a wonderful place to taste some of Spain’s best tapas. The tapas in Malaga are generally not free (though you may receive a complimentary tapa with your drinks in some establishments), but they’re well worth paying for. The city is an exciting mix of traditional tapas bars and modern tapas bars, each offering a unique spin on Spain’s famous small plates.
Sit outside to get the best of your surroundings and the wonderful view of Alcazaba. The restuarant building its self is stunning and dont forget to take a peek inside. Food is really good , we normally take the pimpi special. Also try a glass of Malaga Dulce ( it's a sweet wine from the region)

Carrefour is open Monday to Saturdays 9am to 22pm. The stock everything from freshly made sushi to everything which will make your holiday experience worth while. Only 5 minutes drive by car , and also the shuttle train from El Higueron drops off at the shops
