Navarre Beach is located on the same barrier island as Pensacola Beach, but is less developed. There is a main beach area with plenty of parking. You can also drive west toward the national seashore and find many smaller parking areas with less people.

Fort Pickens has a beach, hiking, biking, camping, tours of the historic fort and more. It's a great place to spend the day, enjoy the beach, hike a trail and learn about the fort's history.

Juana's is a set of waterfront tiki huts on the sound between the mainland and Navarre Beach. They have a variety of seafood dishes and American fare. If you're a visitor to Florida, this is a fun and relaxing place to go. My favorite menu item is the pagoda fish sandwich. The sunset views are beautiful here. Juana's also has a bakery, souvenir shop and bar area with live music. Outdoors there are several volleyball courts, and you can rent watercraft and toys from kayaks to jetskis and more.

Having lived in Europe for several years, I can confidently say this is by far the best, most authentic Italian cuisine within driving distance of our home. We absolutely love Bella Luna. They have a variety of Italian dishes and wines. The chef is wonderful and the staff is friendly and provide excellent service.
