Hearty, competent American fare. This is more of a bike ride or a drive than a walk as it’s almost 4 miles (about an hour walk) up the river from Berm Lane. You can drive there and park and stroll the canal path to see the Bald Eagle’s nest on the island.

2206 River RdHearty, competent American fare. This is more of a bike ride or a drive than a walk as it’s almost 4 miles (about an hour walk) up the river from Berm Lane. You can drive there and park and stroll the canal path to see the Bald Eagle’s nest on the island.

Ringing Rocks RoadAbout a mile from the light turn left into the park and drive up the little dirt road. You’ll come to a small parking area on the left. Walk up the path to the bluffs and enjoy beautiful views of the whole river valley.

Meanwhile, you can walk down the canal path from Frenchtown and take in the current contemporary art exhibition, music, movie, poetry reading, performance or other event. Surprisingly beautiful art for such a small town.
