Only for good swimmers, there is a really strong current that can drag you to the open sea. Be careful!
Atuh beach is a stunning beach with some vendors, selling coconuts, beer and shanks.
The best time to visit Atuh with high tide, check online Bali tides, otherwise Atuh gets really shallow to swim. If you arrive and there is no water to swim, you can walk to the left (facing the sea), along the cliff, you will find there is a path, walk around 300 meters, there will be a place with a nice deepness for a swim, there is no current.
In November, December you should try these berries, they are eatable, you can find them on big trees near the path down to the beach. Enjoy

Kelingking Beach
Iconic beach of Nusa Penida.
Not easy way down to the beach, around 25 min down and 25-30 min climb up.
Great to go for a hike in the morning. There is a shade almost through all the path. Be careful the waves are huge, very dangerous swim.

Great to visit closer to the sunset. Please note that Angel Billabbong can only swim with a low tide.
Please do not swim there when the waves are entering the pool, the waves can pull you out to the open sea and smash you on to the rocks.

Wear more clothes
Balinese people are friendly and easy going, they like modern clothes, but there is big difference between our culture - wearing only bikini. The Balinese are wearing shorts and T-shirts for swimming, and see tourists in bikini is a little bit strange for them. Please wear your bikini at the touristic beaches and add some additional clothes on the public boats, markets or while riding your motorbikes.
