For one of the most beautiful views of Floyd County, the short 1 mile hike is well worth the trip to the bald at the top of the mountain. Suggest that you do this on a sunny to mostly clear day as clouds can obscure the view.

This is a great place to go for a walk. This park is 165 acres of retired farmland within the town limits of Blacksburg. it will eventually be connected to the Huckleberry Trail when it is completed. It does connect directly to Forest Service land from the parking lot on Meadowview Dr in Blacksburg.
